Simply Styled Est. 2021

I'm proud of my wife. It took years of thinking about it, but she's started something new and inspiring.

I'd often tell her, "You should be a designer." Her go-to response was, "I don't have a degree in design."

Fast forward seven years later. Still no design degree. But she's restoring old furniture and made 100% profit on the first few #sales.

She doesn't need a degree because she's not slicing people open like a surgeon or building bridges like an engineer. She's creating art.

Seeing potential in designs other people can't is her art. She thought people wouldn't pay her to design because she wouldn't pay others to do the same. The irony is, she wouldn't pay someone to design because designing is natural to her.

But design doesn't come easy to everyone, and those who can't will pay others who can. This goes for other skillsets too.

If you have something you're good at, try a few projects and see what people think. You may end up learning something new and perhaps get paid for sharing your talent with us.
